Really a ton of valuable insights packed in this one conversation. I feel this episode really hit home the key points of getting started in data science
1) pick any one course and learn the basics
2) do a ton of projects to gain hands-on practice and build a portfolio.
3) be open to applying to as many roles as possible (don’t be stuck up on applying only to “dream” companies and roles)
Great episode Andres and Egor. Really enjoyed learning these insights from someone’s real journey into this field.
That’s right Egor, maintaining consistency in efforts and persevering through the process is the key. Especially in times when you start facing challenges during learning, applying for jobs and interviewing
"Don’t Overthink Resources: "80% of the value comes from just doing the course." Don’t get stuck deciding on the “perfect” course. Pick one, stick to it, and avoid switching frequently, as consistency is what matters most."
This has truly many valuable advices for job seekers!! One of the biggest challenges many job seekers face is getting trapped in a cycle of endless studying without applying any of that theory to real-world problems. When it’s time to enter the professional world, this lack of hands-on experience can hold them back.

This is my favorite advice. Action > information
I agree, that was great advice! Glad you enjoyed it Mandy :)
